Yangon
International Airport (Airport code:
RGN) situated in Mingaladon,
at 15 km north of downtown Yangon,
is the primary international airport
of Myanmar and
the second largest airport in the
country.
The Domestic airlines in Yangon
International Airport are
Air Bagan, Air Mandalay , Myanma
Airways and Yangon Airways.
The airport's old terminal is used
completely for domestic flights,
and the new terminal, in operation
since May 2007, handles international
flights.All four Burmese carriers
and about 15 international airlines
operate out of Yangon International.
